About Us
We are located at 3900 Arthur Drive in the scenic community of Ladner (Delta), BC. Our bright and welcoming classroom is housed in the Parish Centre building at Sacred Heart, directly across from a large school playground and open field, an ideal setting for learning and play.
Our thoughtfully designed indoor learning environment features dedicated areas for exploration and discovery, including Science, Math, Language and Literacy, Dramatic Play, Creative Arts, Blocks, Sensory Play, and Circle Time. Materials are intentionally selected and arranged to spark curiosity, support children’s interests, and align with our curriculum goals.
A highlight of our program is the amount of time children spend outdoors. Learning frequently extends beyond the classroom into our garden and sandbox areas, where children engage in hands-on exploration, imaginative play, and meaningful connections with nature while enjoying fresh air and open space.
Our playground is just steps away, offering ample opportunities for children to develop gross motor skills and enjoy active play. A full-sized gym is conveniently located adjacent to the classroom, allowing children to stay physically active year-round. Ride-on toys, wagons, and a variety of play equipment ensure children can continue moving and exploring, even on cold or rainy days.
Please note that we have transitioned to a secure, private online portal where current photos of the children are shared exclusively with parents. Families are also welcome to visit our Lil’ Saints Facebook page to view select photos and activities from previous years.

Our Lil Saints Team
Mrs. Lock is a certified Early Childhood Educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and over 30 years of experience working with young children. She is committed to creating a fun, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that supports each child’s development. Mrs. Lock strives to foster a positive attitude toward school and learning, helping children feel safe, secure, and confident as they transition into the classroom. Her approach ensures families feel reassured that their children are well cared for in a warm and supportive setting.
Mrs. Marianne is a certified Early Childhood Educator with many years of preschool teaching experience. Marianne brings a calm and gentle presence into the classroom. She loves to create play activities that intrigue and engage the children. Marianne takes the time to get to know each child and you will see her reaching out to the little ones through play, conversation, stories and songs. For Marianne, the best part of being a preschool teacher is watching the children grow and change.
Miss Christine is a certified Early Childhood Educator with over 25 years of experience working with young children. She holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education as well as Montessori certification (Casa, ages 3–5). Miss Christine has been teaching in our Junior Kindergarten program since 2021. Known for her warm, outgoing, and engaging approach, she builds strong connections with both children and families. She is dedicated to fostering independence and confidence in every child she works with.
Miss Raynell holds a Diploma of Jazz Studies from Capilano University, with a major in Voice. She has been teaching music and movement classes with Delta Parks and Recreation for over 24 years. She is a certified Early Childhood Educator and has been a valued member of the Sacred Heart community and Lil’ Saints since 2022. Raynell is gentle, kind, and caring, and is passionate about ensuring that each child’s first school experience is a positive one. She loves watching children learn through play, interact with one another, and build meaningful friendships.
Ms. Carmen has over 30 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. “I feel incredibly grateful to have worked alongside so many young children and their families. I am passionate about creating a warm, fun, nurturing, and play-based environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.”

Pre-K Multi Age Program
A home away from home, a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment where the children feel safe and loved. A fun place that offers the children plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.
Children in our multi age Pre-K program spend many hours in our beautiful garden play area where guided and experiential learning takes place. We watch the plants grow from seed until it’s ready to be picked, watch a slug lay eggs under the logs and spiders spin a web!
Those are just a few of the magic moments in nature that the children in our program have witnessed!
JK Program
Lil Saints Junior Kindergarten provides a joyful, warm and welcoming community that is designed to build connections, explore possibilities, and inspire in children a lifelong love of learning.
The Junior Kindergarten program is specifically designed for the 4-year-old children who will be going to kindergarten the following school year. Our carefully planned curriculum aims to teach the children important skills that they need in order to be a well-rounded individual. We focus on activities that teach the children how to be independent so that they can work on being self-sufficient and confident. Our different play areas encourage social interaction and creativity. It also provides the children plenty of opportunities to challenge themselves and learn different skills that they need to succeed when they go to kindergarten.
