All are welcome to read through our parish Synod synthesis which conveys the main fruits of the discernment of those who participated in Synod Conversation Circles.
From the end of February through to April 2022, a total of 125 parishioners participated in one of the in-person or virtual synodal sessions held by various parish groups. This synodal synthesis reveals what parishioners have to say about areas where the Church is in need of healing and conversion, in its spiritual life, culture, attitudes, structures, pastoral practices, relationships, and missionary outreach.
It was prepared by a small team of parishioners who spent considerable time reading every submission in a spirit of prayer, striving to listen to every voice and surrendering to the Holy Spirit.
Thank you to Erin Seddon and the team of volunteers who worked tirelessly on this important Synod Ministry for our parish.
For questions and comments on the Synthesis we invite you to contact Erin Seddon, leader of the Synod Ministry at: synod@shsdelta.org or by phone at 604-946-2618.
