Lil’ Saints Early Learning Centre

We are located at 3900 Arthur Drive in scenic Ladner (Delta), BC. Our bright and beautiful classroom is located in the Parish Center building directly across from the large school playground & field.  In the classroom, we offer different areas for the children to explore such as: Science, Math, Language, Dramatic, Creative corner, Block, Sensory and Circle time areas. The materials we provide are carefully chosen and arranged to appeal to children and promote our curriculum goal. Due to the incredible outdoor space, the learning quite often continues outdoors.

Our playground is just steps away from our classrooms. There are many opportunities for the children to play while developing gross motor skills and being physically active. A full-sized gym is conveniently adjacent to our classroom. We have ride-on cars, wagons, and other play equipment that allow the children in our program to keep moving even on cold and rainy days.

Our Lil Saints Team

Mrs. Lock is a certified Early Childhood Educator with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She has more than 20 years of experience working with children.

Mrs. Lock’s goal is to provide a fun, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for her students. She aims to instill in the children a love of school. Being away from their parents, even for just a couple hours, can be hard for young children. It is her mission to help the children feel safe and secure, while assuring parents that their “babies” are safe and well cared for.

Miss Marianne is a certified Early Childhood Educator with many years of preschool teaching experience.

Marianne brings a calm and gentle presence into the classroom. She loves to create play activities that intrigue and engage the children. Marianne takes the time to get to know each child and you will see her reaching out to the little ones through play, conversation, stories and songs. For Marianne, the best part of being a preschool teacher is watching the children grow and change.

Ms. Jerrica has her Early Childhood certificate, Infant Toddler certification and Bachelor of Arts degree. Ms. Jerrica has many years of experience working in a preschool setting. Her goal is for the children to have fun and to be comfortable being themselves.

Miss Christine is a certified Childhood Educator. She has a diploma in Early Childhood Education and Montessori (Casa 3-5 years). We are happy to welcome Christine as a new addition to the Lil Saints team.

Miss Yvette received her certificate in Early Childhood Education in 2008. She has completed her post basic schooling in Infant and Toddler Education and has plans for further training and schooling in the field of speech and language therapy. Yvette has a progressive approach to teaching, she maintains that there is a way to include curriculum in a play-based learning environment.  She brings with her almost 20 years of passionate work in this field of teaching.

A home away from home, a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment where the children feel safe and loved. A fun place that offers the children plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.

Children in our multi age Pre-K program spend many hours in our beautiful garden play area where guided and experiential learning takes place. We watch the plants grow from seed until it’s ready to be picked, watch a slug lay eggs under the logs and spiders spin a web!

Those are just a few of the magic moments in nature that the children in our program have witnessed!

Lil Saints Junior Kindergarten provides a joyful, warm and welcoming community that is designed to build connections, explore possibilities, and inspire in children a lifelong love of learning.

The Junior Kindergarten program is specifically designed for the 4-year-old children who will be going to kindergarten the following school year.  Our carefully planned curriculum aims to teach the children important skills that they need in order to be a well-rounded individual. We focus on activities that teach the children how to be independent so that they can work on being self-sufficient and confident. Our different play areas encourage social interaction and creativity. It also provides the children plenty of opportunities to challenge themselves and learn different skills that they need to succeed when they go to kindergarten.
