“Where two or three gather in my name, I am in their midst” (Matthew 18:15-20). These are the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, himself. Indeed, coming together as community is at the heart of Catholicism. The Synod itself was a gathering of the faithful and at our parish, its synthesis clearly noted the need for:
- Increased engagement, and a sense of community as Catholics
- Support for seniors
With this goal in mind, our parish will:
1. Increase opportunities for regular social engagements after Mass.
2. Create social events to support community building.
3. Create a rideshare group to help seniors get to Mass and back.
4. Host annual marquee events that hopefully become parish “traditions” that we
all look forward to.
